Configurating Distress Alert

• Login to Klaxon as Site Administrator.
• Navigate to Sidebar and Click on the Distress alert option under Advance.

• Click on the Add New button on the top right corner of the screen, and a window will pop up to fill in the details to create SOS template which will have 3 tabs.

Details Tab

1. Name: Fill in the name of the Distress Alert Template.
2. Custom Confirmation Prompt Title: The title that the initiator will see while raising the Alert.
3. Custom Confirmation Prompt Description: The description that the initiator will see while raising the Alert.
4. How recipients receive this notification: Select the channel of communication when an alert is raised.

Initiator Tab

1. Enable for user group: The users in this group will be able to initiate the SOS alert.
2. Reply to initiator with message (when handler replies): When the SOS alert handler acknowledges the SOS, this message will be sent to the initiator. E.g., Help is on its way.
3. Reply to initiator with message (immediately after button is pressed): This message will be shown on the screen of the initiator once the alert has been raised.

Handler Tab

1. Handlers group: The Users in this group will be acknowledging and handling the distress alert raised by the initiator.
2. Title: This text will be the title of the SOS alert that the users in the handlers group receive.
3. Description: The description of the SOS alert that the users in the handlers group will receive.

• Once the details are filled in Click on the Save button.
